In
the continuing design exploration designated Asymmetris,
this is a desk organizer. The approach of asymmetry,
applied to the functions of an organizer, as well as
materials available for its fabrication, permits new
creative directions for developing concepts and designs.
This
first version of two, explores the use of one major
juncture point of two main asymmetrical axis lines,
as the "spine" of the design. Then subdivisions
of the two areas created by these two lines, creates
the forms for the main functions of the organizer. Satin
finished metal and dark Cherry wood are used to appoint
the various elements of this design.
